Having a panther a mere 30 cm aways is great, but having a lens that requires at least 150 cm to focus, and reflections on the window separating the panther and I, doesn't help getting great shots.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is an astonishingly clear, sharp photo for being shot through glass. When I looked very, very carefully I could see a few smudge-like reflections, but I never would have noticed if I hadn't been looking. The focus is absolutely crystal-clear, with a nice depth of field to bring the attention to the leopard's face. The lighting is even and well-captured.
Technically, I think this piece is impeccable. I don't think it's a particularly unique or artistic piece, because it doesn't seem to have an "angle" or an unusual way of looking at the animal, but I think it's a beautiful photo. I liked it a lot.
