1961 - Grey Heron

This piece is amazing! I love the bird first off, and how the colors blend together is great. Your vision is spectacular and I can't find anything to criticize.

Originallity is okay, but I must admit, the bird, as odd as it is, really stands out, which isn't that original.

For your technique, the angle at which you took the picture is really great, and it helps that the bird is standing on a pile of branches and twigs. However, in the background, where it is out of focus, I see a few smudge marks. They are a little distracting from the bird and the main point of the picture.

The impact is great as well, and the bird seems intent on watching something, as its eyes show. Overall, this is a very neat and artistic photo.
